A Commitment to Excellence

Promatica’s Approach to Data Protection

At Promatica, we’re proud to be recognised for delivering services that benefit patients, practices, and the wider NHS. However, the foundation of our work lies in our commitment to clinical safety, data protection, and security—values that underpin every service we provide.

As part of our annual document review, we’ve completed a significant upgrade to our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) to ensure full alignment with the latest NHS guidelines. Our documentation has gone through the NHS IM1 process, famous for its rigorous approach to the safe processing of data.

The updated DPA allows Promatica to visualise:

  • The services the practice have opted in to.
  • Tailored opportunities to explore further innovative solutions, bespoke to your practice.
  • The option to file back CGM data to patient records to create efficiency in diabetes consultations.

Prism’s triage functionality adds an extra layer of security, safeguarding patient confidentiality while optimising workflow.

Enhanced Data Extraction Options for Resilience and Efficiency

Our updated processes now include two secure data extraction methods:

Automatic overnight extractions via the IM1 route, ensuring safer, streamlined services and access to longitudinal data.

Manual extracts as a robust contingency option to maintain business continuity if IM1 is temporarily unavailable.

Shaping the Future of Data Security and Patient Care

This upgrade represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance the security and efficiency of your practice’s data handling. Click here to learn more about our PRISM software.
